Spring & Fall Activities
Spring is a great time to enjoy nature at Shekinah. We often accommodate school groups for year-end windups, as well as for more formal learning opportunities.
Fall is a popular - and beautiful - time at Shekinah. Our programs are planned to fit into the school curriculum.
Activities for Winter Groups
Winter groups have the chalet as their home base complete with full kitchen, bathrooms, and main hall. The chalet is heated with a natural gas boiler and also has a wood stove for that campy feel. A curtain drawn across the center of the hall provides privacy for sleeping on mattresses on the floor. For larger groups, we have an additional 2 cabins to provide additional sleeping accommodations.
If you are looking for a beautiful setting, a great space, and the freedom to cook all your own meals, the chalet is just what you need. Tucked in and amongst the trees, it is in close proximity to a wide variety of on-site games and activities.
With countless outdoor features, and everything you need inside, this fantastic facility is perfect for your group:
- Seating and meal placements for up to 80 people, between 30 and 60 is perfect
- Commercial grade kitchen as well as ample fridge and freezer space available
- Barbecue also available
- Close proximity to fire-pit and picnic tables with wiener roasting forks available
- For overnight retreats accommodation can be coupled with the cabins or shanty tents
- Fully winterized with furnace and wood stove
